I bought this book quite sometime ago.. No time to read & prob, too lazy to finish up wad i've begun. *Grins. So, until i saw this article online - a brief summary of the entire book, i thought, this is truely an awesome book by Rev Ulf Ekman! Now. Be very blessed by it. =)

God is the Strength of my heart and my portion forever and ever

When i got home from a wedding dinner last night, i can't help but to flip my bible to look for some encouragements. Eugene, David and Shuping shared a word during the last cgm. I felt it was a word in season. Thank you God for the word which was spoken. And that i'm more than blessed!

The Bible is a wonderful thing. To me, its the best gift from God. There's something more to it than just a mere story book.
For the weak; there are verses for the weak.
For the meek; there are verses for the meek.
For the humble and low in heart, there are verses for them.
For the haughty, there are verses for them.
To the envious, there are verses for them.
To the wicked, there are verses that speaks of them.

The Bible is a universal thing. There is no one verse that is placed in the bible by chance. Start a day by reading it. Oh wad wonderful blessings it can bring.

My prayer desire for N339, is to have a strong heart. A heart that hides Your Word so that sin will not come in, a heart that's undivided but One You rule and reign, a heart that beats compassion that pleases You my Lord...
There, a sweet aroma of worship that rises to Your Throne.

Hi there, i came accross this article... It's quite interesting to know about the behavior itself, and some of the attention seeking methods that one possess. The manner in which one behaves, and why the need for attention.

my kukup trip on Nation's bday '07

Hmmm... just visited Juan's blog, and remembered about my kukup trip upon seeing some photos she posted. The thing is... I skipped sch just to get onto this trip....*Grins.

But i had fun... tog with these bunch of nice ppl. It was quite an experience for me to live in a villiage that built on stilts. Quite a stinky place too! hahas... Overall, i was blessed on this trip as 'AOB' expenses been covered. =D

Oh look at wad we've got?! It's kinda slimy... Well, it's my first time having such close encounter with nature. Arrgh. Should have gotten it back to Singapore!

Feed it, let it grow, then eat it! yay.

And yes, i "drove" them there! hahaha!

I do not know why.. just plucked my guitar and kept singing and singing...

Don't look back

Gen 19:17 It came to pass, when they had taken them out, that he said, "Escape for your life! Don't look behind you, and don't stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!"

There's nothing you can do about your past; there's something you can do about your future.
Don't look back at your past mistakes. Move on. Learn from it and forget it.

Think of your past victories. Smile at it.
If God can make it happen for you once, surely He can do it for you again.

The ball is Round

Feels so good.
The thingy is.. i'm earlier than Mr Tan for work today! yay. Grins, i thought that he probably would be on MC or leave today when i still don't see him at 8:15. Well, this goes to show that the ball is round, so does the world. (Hehehe!)

Know what'... This saying comes from my old time buddy, Ben. Used to play pool with him and then challenge one another in a game or two to ten.. =D

And whenever i got in multiple shots, he'd spite me by saying "the ball is round". And whenever i've got this "OMG, i'm gonna lose" kinda face, he'd encourage me by saying, "don't worry, the ball is round" Hahaha!

It has been ages since i last touched this game. Cg used to play it after every svc and i'm kinda missing it! Just gonna find back all my pool khakis, and regain back my gal power - lady killer position. - Muahahahaaa.. =D

Devotion: Everything's beautiful

Ecc 3 says: He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in our hearts except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

Everything in life is beautiful, it should be and it must be.
But sometimes, we do go through the ugly patches of it. We make mistakes. We do silly things. We failed to do what's right. We bang onto walls.. and worse of it, WE GIVE UP.

BUT; He has placed eternity in our hearts.
Though along our journey, we do not know how He works through our lives, but know that it's preparation steps to a great destiny ahead.

We're not victims of circumstance, but a VICTOR of it all.
We don't stay at our struggles, we walk through it victoriously!

Deepavali in JB... Rejuvenating

We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun!
Some of my mbrs and i went to JB on Deepavali. It was a fun trip. Thank God for everything. The rain stopped. No jam. Fast journey. Smooth trip. Fun day!

Now then i know... the fastest way to get to JB: is by this pte co bus called CW1. hahas.. it's really cool. We went on this trip with 5 pretty ladies and 1 strong man. At first, my idea of bringing my mbrs there is just to enjoy - shopping & eating. But when we arrived there, wild ideas came unwind - Jen with the whole idea of massage thingy! Never did i expect, we are true blue singaporeans going over there to do some "tai-tai" stuffs. nail painting, facial, hair treatment, cut & dyed hair, full body massage.. we spent quite a bit $, ended up eating macs for dinner before our return. Macs was good!

Now, looking forward to our next trip.. Bintan?

My day is made great!

because of Cynthia. I'm so touched when she told me that she prayed for me. An sms from her came in real early at 7 in the morning! It was really wad i needed most - a morning boost.
I thank God for her!

People say, an apple a day keeps the doctor away...
But to me, a verse a day keeps the devil away!!!

What makes me?

A new week has finally begun. The last one was kinda NG for me. Too many mountains to conquer and valleys to walk thru. A lil stucked at a corner awaiting for a breakthru. My worries are always there toward some ppl, Just say a lil prayer for them, hoping it gets a brighter tmr as always. I realise there's a flow of heaviness. But! A season of change will take place. New hope will arise. Life will go thru transformation by the renewing of the mind. Positiveness stands where negative thoughts fall. In search for the possiblilities in all circumstances. Be a victor rather than a victim of the circumstance. Get out from the puny little world of feelings and THINK BIG!
