I had a sharpening night on Sat. Thank God for friends like that - that will press into my life to speak of the deep things of me. Indeed, true friends do sharpen each other. And I need to grow and enlarge my circle of true friends. Because I feel it is always easy to withdraw when it gets a lil uncomfortable than to press in further. 3 degrees of "must have" friendships, in which the middle is "peers".

Random thoughts

I need to learn ONE thing:
Praise people. Sing praises of others. Just praise others.
Be it a big effort or a small effort - Praise.
Be it a small contribution or major contribution - STILL Praise.

Why ppl can praise me so much and yet I can't...? It's not that difficult.. really. And I just need to learn - how to be better.

I need a get away!

Peace. Quietness. Calmness. Tranquility. Solitude. Placidity.
That's all I need.

Privilleged.

I've stepped out in faith and I'm moving up the next level in my ministry. I'm glad I did. Chorus board is a very very progressive ministry. Always coming up with new things! Well, I just wanna thank God and the ldrs for giving me the opportunity to serve in this manner. Though it's always tough to learn and master a new thing but I believe I can. Step out and challenge myself once again and not give up!

Do you feel a "sense of provoking" whenever you read the Bible? Something that you read stirred your heart, you are aroused by your emotions... and you countered some mixed feelings after reading the words of God.. Friends, that is because HE LOVES YOU! & He can't bear to forsake you!!! And the love of our Abba Father is not just some "lovey-dovey" experience, nor just blessings and blessings and grace and mercy.

Pro 3:12
For whom the LORD loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights.

Thus sayeth the Lord:
“ My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
For whom the LORD loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”

Heb 12:7-8
you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

Lastly, Job 5:17
“ Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.

So, don't shut your ears or close up the Book when it's uncomfortable, tarry, because He loves you!
Discipleship, Discipline, Details - Determine Destiny!

Wisdom!!! A principle thing.

In all your getting, get Understanding!
It took me a series of non-affiliated events to learn this... that Accountability is very very important!!! You might be asking yourself this, "what is there to hide?" or even, why others can't know?!

It's a very transparent world, indeed. We need to live lives transparently. Because Truth stands & will always stand.
Pro 12:19
The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.
v22, Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.

Secrecy, half-truth, hidden-truth, concealment... whoa, all these are scary. And not just that, it is deadly. It will challenge our Value System and in turn; affect us indirectly. Think about that.
Pro 25:2
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
Therefore, Pro 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

Dear friends, I feel so challenged for forthrightness, honesty, openness, publicity & revelation. God reveals. People of the Lord reveals. Winning people are people without a doubt on their words, actions and lifestyle.

I really thank God for giving me "fun-members".
One word - LET's GO! & they went with me as I thought I was only joking. It really came to past and here we are @ ECP under the God-given sun to experience joy, fun and laughters in N339.

It wasn't easy for the 1st timers... but they lasted the journey with me. So very proud of them!

Now they can proclaim with all their might and say:

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

We struggled so hard to even get together to take a group photo. *Grins. And of course, some fell, some got bruises.. Aw... But all had fun.

Countless of falls! Well, it's either we fly together or we fall together.
Ecc 4:9-12
Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Not forgetting a great friend of mine, Esther, that came along with her pro-Ah Seng to aid me with this group..... And Yuzhen for coming all the way to ECP just to fellowship with me. Friend, you are good! Despite the many falls, you stood strong again. You really live up to Pro 24:16!!

Cool. Got this MMS from Kenrus this morning. I'm excited for it.

And this is my lil cousin whom I met and carried for the very 1st time. Babies are just so cute and so nice to play with. I love them! But... I hate their non-stop cries and howls through the night. Haha..

Crazy weekend... + Midnight blading with Suping... but it was eventful - tremendous load of fun and funny stuffs.
